About the series
Daredevil: Born Again acts as a continuation of the original Netflix drama that aired for three seasons between 2015 and 2018. Lead actor Charlie Cox first brought Matt Murdock to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the feature film Spider-Man: No Way Home in December 2021. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige initially announced the Disney+ project at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022.
The show debuted its nine-episode first season on March 4, 2025, and followed with an eight-episode second season on March 24, 2026. The series underwent a major creative overhaul during the 2023 Hollywood strikes, moving away from original head writers Matt Corman and Chris Ord. Scardapane was brought in to run the show, alongside directors and executive producers Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
