What's new
A new unauthorized video titled “GTA 6: An Extended Leek” published online on October 8, 2026. Uploaded by an account using the name Cyberleek, the clip spans roughly 24 to 25 minutes and shows previously unseen footage featuring main characters Jason and Lucia. Following the appearance of the footage, Rockstar Games has remained quiet for three consecutive days without providing a specific response.
This silence highlights a shift from August 26, 2026, when Rockstar issued a public statement addressing leaked unfinished gameplay and describing the situation as heartbreaking for the team. Reports from outlets including Kotaku, The Verge, and Dexerto indicate that the studio is treating its August statement as its standing position rather than responding to each new leak individually.
About the series
The project focuses on lead characters Jason and Lucia, whom Rockstar's official site identifies as Lucia Caminos. Full cast lists, director details, and episode counts are not specified in the source; please check the official notice.
Online discussions surrounding the October clip have mentioned unverified details such as specific story beats, a first-person camera mode, and nudity claims. Neither Rockstar nor parent company Take-Two has confirmed any of these elements or verified that the clip reflects the final release.
Key background facts include:
- The current events follow a major breach in September 2022, when a hacker known as teapotuberhacker (Arion Kurtaj) released around 90 clips set in Vice City.
- Public reports clarify that the 2022 incident and the 2026 Cyberleek videos are separate matters.
- Lucia Caminos has been central to official descriptions and leaked footage throughout the coverage.
What to expect
As the November 19 release date approaches, Rockstar appears to be adhering to its strategy of avoiding fresh statements for every video drop. By withholding individual comments, the studio allows unauthorized clips to fade more quickly from the news cycle.
Broadcast details or additional official updates are not specified in the source; please check the official notice.
