Role Overview
In this role, you’ll bridge craft and code by architecting custom Liquid themes (Online Store 2.0) and modern headless implementations (Hydrogen, Remix, Next.js, GraphQL). Operating in a calm, async-first environment, you will work alongside exceptional designers to deliver pixel-perfect, accessible, and fast web experiences.
Compensation: $40/hr – $120/hr (depending on seniority and leadership experience). Engagements typically run 8+ weeks at 40 hours per week, with a strong focus on building long-term, ongoing relationships.
Key Requirements
- 8+ Years of Frontend Mastery: A track record of writing performant code with a relentless focus on 95+ Lighthouse scores and Core Web Vitals.
- Shopify Ecosystem Expertise: Deep experience with Liquid, JSON templates, Storefront API, and headless frameworks like Hydrogen/Remix or Next.js.
- Modern Tech Stack: Proficiency in TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and animation libraries (GSAP, Framer Motion).
