The Greg Sharpe Sports Broadcasting Scholarship Fund was established to honor the life and career of sportscaster Greg Sharpe. Throughout his professional journey, Sharpe worked as a play-by-play announcer for athletic programs at both Kansas State University and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Following his death from pancreatic cancer on Feb. 14, 2025, his wife, Amy, and his brothers, Douglas and Michael, created the fund to support future student announcers at both schools.
