Visa and Travel Considerations
Securing the scholarship award is one part of the entry process. Palestinian students traveling from Gaza encounter significant administrative and logistical challenges due to severe disruption and destruction of local banking, academic, and civilian infrastructure. Candidates must obtain visa authorization confirmed by the Irish Minister for Justice, alongside travel facilitation involving the Department of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, leaving Gaza requires approval from Israeli authorities before students can arrive in Ireland to begin their degree programs.
